In Vineyard

Malbec and Cabernet grapes collected in over maturation.  The grapes are worked to keep a good percentage of whole berries, thus obtaining a pleasant fruity hint during fermentation.

In Cellar

The grapes have been vinified with a 10-day maceration to give the right colour to the wine and keep the palate intact at temperatures of 22/24°C to not extract green tannins.

In Tasting

Bright red wine, it has a fresh vinous scent, with intense notes of currants and raspberry.  In the mouth is soft and balanced. The good velvety final sensations, particularly fruity.  Experience has taught the Paladin family to combine Malbec and Cabernet in a harmonious blend.  The delicate softness of the Malbec and the rich fabric of Cabernet are combined in a pleasant wine, from the perfect balance, which is suitable for every occasion.  Satisfies the need for a light drink of daily meals.

Pairings

Great to accompany appetizing snacks and traditional Mediterranean dishes. Suggested at home, in the pizzerias, brasseries, bruschetterie and in the restaurants specialized in pasta offer.

Malbec – is a purple grape variety used in making red wine. The grapes tend to have an inky dark color and robust tannins, and are known as one of the six grapes allowed in the blend of red Bordeaux wine.
Cabernet – is probably the most famous red wine grape variety on Earth. It is rivaled in this regard only by its Bordeaux stablemate Merlot. 
IGP – stands for Indicazione Geografica Protetta. This applies to agricultural products or foodstuffs whose qualities and/or reputation are derived from their geographical origin and whose production and/or transformation or processing occurs in the given geographical area.
Paladin – Paladin Vigne e Vini is the first winery of the whole Casa Paladin group – a family owned estate founded in 1962  in Motta di Livenza, near Treviso, at the boundaries of the Venetian land.
Veneto – is a substantial and increasingly important wine region in the northeastern corner of Italy. Veneto is slightly smaller than Italy’s other main wine-producing regions – Piedmont, Tuscany, Lombardy, Puglia and Sicily – yet it generates more wine than any of them. Today more than 25 percent of the region’s wine is made and sold under DOC/DOCG titles.
