100% Cabernet Franc grapes grown from our own vineyards in Pramaggiore. The vineyard is situated 25 – 40 metres above sea level with medium texture and clayey soil. Sylvoz is the growing method used.
Red vinification of Cabernet Franc grapes. Fermentation takes place on the skins in steel vats for 8-10 days at a controlled temperature of 24-26 °C, on carefully selected yeasts. After racking off the wine is held in steel vats until bottling.
The colour is ruby red with purple highlights. Intensely vinous scent with the herbaceous hint typical of the variety. The flavour is lean and vibrant with pleasant fruity hints on a velvety tannic structure.
Ideal with flavourful first courses, grilled meat, venison and hard, highly flavoured cheese.
